At Willow Wind Goods, intention is at the heart of everything we make. We believe nature provides an extraordinary array of plants, oils, and ingredients, each with its own unique qualities. While science and technology have given us the ability to isolate, alter, and extract individual constituents, we believe there is something valuable in working with ingredients in a way that honors their natural complexity.
Our formulations are carefully considered from beginning to end. We don't simply select individual ingredients for what they can offer on their own. We thoughtfully consider how oils, herbs, and other ingredients complement and support one another and formulate with their combined qualities in mind. We strive to create synergistic formulations—thoughtful combinations in which each ingredient has a purpose and contributes to the character and function of the finished product.
Our Infusions
Infusion is one of the ways we honor the whole plant. Whenever possible, we use whole-plant or whole-ingredient oil infusions to gently draw the oil-soluble qualities of an ingredient into our formulations. Rather than relying solely on isolated or synthetically derived components, we prefer to work with the broader expression of the plant whenever the formulation allows.
The herbs you see in our products are not simply ingredients on a list. Each one has been carefully considered for its individual qualities, how it complements the other ingredients, and the role it plays in the finished formulation. We select our infusion material thoughtfully, prepare it with care, and give it the time and attention it deserves. Every Willow Wind Goods product contains at least one carefully selected infusion.
Fragrance & Essential Oils
We do not use fragrance oils or products marketed as "natural fragrances" that rely on chemically derived fragrance components. When we use essential oils, they are selected intentionally—for their aromatic qualities as well as for the naturally occurring components they contribute to a formulation.
We believe that thoughtful body care begins with thoughtful ingredients and thoughtful processes.
